- 200 g grated coconut
- 150 g sugar
- 200 ml condensed milk
- 50 g butter
- 100 ml water
How to make Cocada amarela

- In a saucepan, combine the grated coconut, sugar, and water over medium heat.
- Cook while stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add 200 g of condensed milk and 50 g of butter, mixing until well combined.
- Continue cooking for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens noticeably.
- Once thickened, pour the mixture into a greased dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Let the mixture cool completely at room temperature for about 1 hour until set.
- Cut into squares and serve your cocada amarela to enjoy.
