Grah recipe

Ingredients
- 300 g dry beans
- 1 unit onion
- 1 unit carrot
- 2 unit potato
- 200 g smoked meat
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 unit bay leaves
How to make Grah
- Soak 300 g of dry beans in water overnight to soften.
- Chop 1 onion and 1 carrot before starting.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and chopped carrot; sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Add 200 g of diced smoked meat to the pot and stir for another 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the soaked beans and add them to the pot along with 1 diced potato.
- Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 2 bay leaves.
- Pour in about 1 liter of water to cover the ingredients in the pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 1.5 hours until beans are tender.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the Grah hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
