Ingredients
- 500 g cassava
- 300 g plantains
- 1000 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
How to make Fufu
- Peel and chop 300 g of cassava and 300 g of plantains into small chunks.
- Boil 1 liter of salted water in a large pot and add the cassava and plantains.
- Cook until the cassava and plantains are tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the boiled mixture and mash it together until completely smooth with no lumps.
- Knead the mixture in the pot for 5 minutes until it is stretchy and smooth.
- Shape the fufu into balls or serve it in a bowl.
- Serve warm with your favorite soup or sauce.
