How to make Cazuela

  1. Chop 1 onion and 2 garlic cloves. Cube 200 g beef and 200 g chicken. Chop 2 potatoes, 200 g pumpkin, and prepare 150 g green beans.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion for 5 minutes until translucent, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the cubed beef and chicken, browning on all sides for about 8 minutes.
  6. Stir in the chopped potatoes, pumpkin, corn, and green beans, mixing well to combine the ingredients.
  7. Pour in 1 liter of beef broth and season with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1 teaspoon paprika.
  8. Bring to a gentle simmer uncovered for about 60 minutes until the meat and vegetables are tender. Serve hot.
