Jiaozi dumplings recipe
Delicious homemade jiaozi dumplings to savor!
Ingredients
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 150 ml water
- 250 g ground pork
- 200 g cabbage
- 3 unit green onion
- 15 g ginger
- 30 ml soy sauce
- 10 ml sesame oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make Jiaozi dumplings
- Prepare 300 g of all-purpose flour and 150 ml of water; mix to form a dough and knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Chop 200 g of cabbage and 3 green onions finely. Set aside the ingredients in a bowl.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped vegetables with 250 g of ground pork, 1 tbsp of minced ginger, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sesame oil, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of pepper; mix well.
- Roll the dough into small circles, about 8 cm in diameter, and place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly, ensuring no filling is exposed.
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- Carefully add the dumplings to the boiling water and cook until they float, about 5-7 minutes.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the dumplings and let them rest on a plate for a moment before serving.
- Serve the dumplings hot, accompanied by soy sauce for dipping.
