Frikadeller recipe
Delicious Danish meatballs, perfect for any meal!
Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 unit onion
- 1 unit egg
- 100 g bread crumbs
- 50 ml milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 30 g butter
How to make Frikadeller
- Finely chop 1 onion and set aside in a bowl.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 500 g of ground beef and the chopped onion.
- Add 1 egg, 100 g of bread crumbs, 50 ml of milk to the beef mixture.
- Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper, mixing well.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of golf balls.
- In a skillet, heat 30 g of butter over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
- Carefully add the meatballs to the skillet in a single layer.
- Fry the meatballs until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the meatballs hot with boiled potatoes or your favorite sauce.
