Crab and dumplings recipe

Ingredients
- 500 g crab meat
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 150 ml water
- 1 unit onion
- 3 unit garlic
- 1 unit bell pepper
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 200 ml coconut milk
How to make Crab and dumplings
- In a pot over medium heat, sauté 1 chopped onion for about 5 minutes until softened and translucent.
- Add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 chopped bell pepper to the pot, and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in 300 g of crab meat, 1 tsp of thyme, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper, cooking gently for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine 250 g of all-purpose flour with 1 tbsp of baking powder and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add 180 ml of water into the flour mixture, stirring until you form a soft dough.
- Shape the dough into small dumplings, about the size of a walnut, and set them aside on a plate.
- Add the dumplings into the pot with the other ingredients, gently stirring to distribute them evenly.
- Pour in 400 ml of coconut milk, ensuring all ingredients are covered, and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through and fluffy.
- Serve the crab and dumplings hot, portioned into bowls with the broth.
