How to make Suaasat

  1. Cut 500 g of seal meat into small cubes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Peel 200 g of potatoes and chop alongside 150 g of carrots and 100 g of onion in uniform pieces.
  3. In a large pot, add 2 liters of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
  4. Add the seal meat, chopped vegetables, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, and 1 bay leaf to the pot.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Check the seasoning and adjust salt and pepper as needed before serving.
  7. Ladle the hot soup into bowls and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
