Soup kandia recipe

Ingredients
- 200 g okra
- 300 g tomatoes
- 1 unit onion
- 2 unit garlic
- 1 unit vegetable broth
- 3 tbsp palm oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
How to make Soup kandia
- Start by chopping 200 g of okra, 400 g of tomatoes, 1 onion, and 2 cloves of garlic into small pieces.
- In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of palm oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the hot oil for about 3 minutes until they become soft and fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they release their juices and soften.
- Pour in 1 liter of vegetable broth, stirring well to combine all the ingredients in the pot.
- Add the chopped okra, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper for flavoring.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot to simmer for 20 minutes until the okra is tender.
- Once ready, serve hot in bowls, ideally alongside rice or bread to complement the dish.
