How to make Laap

  1. In a pan over medium heat, add 500 g of minced pork and cook until the meat is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove the pan from heat and let the pork cool slightly for about 5 minutes to avoid overcooking.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix 60 ml of lime juice, 30 ml of fish sauce, and 1 tsp of chili flakes until well combined.
  4. Add the cooked pork to the bowl along with 30 g of fresh mint (chopped), 30 g of fresh cilantro (chopped), and 2 shallots (thinly sliced).
  5. Toss all ingredients together gently until evenly mixed, about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the mixture on a plate with 200 g of cooked jasmine rice on the side for a complete dish.
