Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 unit onion
- 300 g carrots
- 400 g cabbage
- 600 g pork shoulder
- 500 ml beef broth
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 unit bay leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
How to make Türli
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add 1 chopped onion to the pot and 500 g of diced pork shoulder; sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in 600 g of diced potatoes, 300 g of diced carrots, and 200 g of shredded cabbage; mix well.
- Pour in 1 liter of beef broth, and season with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, and 3 bay leaves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for 60 minutes.
- Check occasionally, stirring to prevent sticking or burning.
- After simmering, taste and adjust seasoning if needed; remove bay leaves before serving.
- Serve hot, ensuring each portion includes both meat and vegetables for a balanced meal.
