How to make Mashed taro

  1. Peel the taro and chop it into 1 cm cubes, discarding any tough sections.
  2. Place the cubed taro into a pot, cover with salted water, and boil for about 15 minutes until tender.
  3. After boiling, drain the taro and return it to the pot over low heat for moisture evaporation.
  4. Add 200 ml of coconut milk and 30 g of butter to the taro in the pot.
  5. Use a potato masher to mash the taro until smooth and creamy, tasting and adjusting salt as needed.
  6. Transfer the mashed taro to a serving bowl and serve warm, as a delicious side dish.
