Selsko meso recipe

Ingredients
- 800 g beef
- 400 g potatoes
- 200 g carrots
- 200 g onions
- 200 g bell peppers
- 100 g tomato paste
- 50 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 unit water
How to make Selsko meso
- Cut 500 g of beef into 2 cm cubes and season with 1 teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
- In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the beef cubes to the pot and brown them for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Chop 1 onion, 2 carrots, and 1 bell pepper; add these to the pot and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste to combine with the vegetables in the pot.
- Pour in 500 ml of water, bringing the mixture to a rapid boil, then reduce the heat.
- Add 300 g of chopped potatoes to the pot, stirring gently to combine.
- Cover and let simmer gently for 1 hour until the beef is tender and potatoes are cooked.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving hot.
- Serve hot, ideally with crusty bread on the side.
