Couscous recipe
A fluffy and flavorful couscous dish to savor.
Ingredients
- 250 g couscous
- 500 ml water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 g vegetables
How to make Couscous
- Chop your choice of vegetables, measuring the quantities needed for later mixing.
- In a medium pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil over high heat with 1 tsp of salt.
- Once boiling, add 250 g of couscous to the water, stir quickly, then remove from heat immediately.
- Cover the pot with a lid and leave it undisturbed for 5 minutes to allow the couscous to absorb the water.
- Fluff the couscous gently with a fork until it is light and airy.
- Drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil evenly over the fluffy couscous, mixing it in gently.
- Add the chopped vegetables into the couscous, folding them in until well incorporated.
- Serve warm on a large plate or bowl, garnishing with extra vegetables if desired.
