Laksa recipe
A fragrant and spicy noodle soup to delight your senses.
Ingredients
- 200 g rice noodles
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 300 g chicken breast
- 100 g bean sprouts
- 3 tbsp laksa paste
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 unit lime
- 30 g fresh coriander
How to make Laksa
- Cook 200 g of rice noodles according to package instructions until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a pot, heat 3 tablespoons of laksa paste over medium heat for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add 300 g of diced chicken breast to the pot and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in 400 ml of coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer the soup for 10 minutes to blend the flavors and thicken slightly.
- Add 2 tablespoons of fish sauce and 100 g of bean sprouts to the pot and stir well.
- Remove from heat and let the soup rest for a couple minutes before serving.
- Serve the cooked noodles in bowls, ladle the soup over the top, and garnish with lime wedges and fresh coriander.
