How to make Momo

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 300 g of all-purpose flour with about 150 ml of water, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth, then cover with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, finely chop 1 onion, 1 inch of ginger, 2 garlic cloves, and a handful of coriander leaves and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mix 500 g of ground chicken with the chopped ingredients, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of pepper until well combined.
  5. Roll out the rested dough into thin circles, each approximately 10 cm wide, and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center.
  6. Moisten the edges of the dough with water, fold, and pinch to seal the momos tightly.
  7. Prepare a steamer and steam the momos for 15-20 minutes until the dough is translucent and the filling is cooked through.
  8. Once cooked, remove the momos from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving.
