How to make Lamb roast

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) to ensure even cooking of the lamb roast.
  2. Rub the lamb leg thoroughly with 2 tablespoons of olive oil for better flavor absorption.
  3. Add 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of rosemary, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper on the lamb.
  4. Place the lamb leg in a roasting pan, ensuring it’s centered.
  5. Chop and add 3 carrots and 4 potatoes around the lamb in the roasting pan.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 60°C (140°F) for medium-rare.
  7. Remove the lamb from the oven and allow it to rest for 15 minutes on a cutting board.
  8. Slice the lamb after resting, ensuring juices remain intact while cutting.
