Sinigang recipe

Ingredients
- 500 g pork belly
- 2000 ml water
- 100 g tamarind paste
- 200 g radish
- 200 g eggplant
- 150 g water spinach
- 2 unit green chili
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make Sinigang
- Chop 1 radish, slice 1 eggplant, and prep 200 g of water spinach before starting the recipe.
- In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil over high heat, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add 500 g of pork belly to the boiling water, cooking for 10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 40 minutes until the pork is tender.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons tamarind paste, sliced radish, and sliced eggplant; cook for 10 minutes until tender.
- Add the 200 g of water spinach and 1 green chili, cooking for another 5 minutes until wilted.
- Season the soup with 2 tablespoons fish sauce and adjust with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, accompanied by rice on the side.
