Chilli crab recipe

Ingredients
- 1200 g live crab
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 unit garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 3 tbsp chili paste
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml water
- 2 unit spring onions
- 1 unit coriander
How to make Chilli crab
- Prepare the ingredients: clean 1 live crab, chop into quarters, and remove the shell and gills carefully.
- Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large wok over medium heat until shimmering, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to the wok and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in 3 tablespoons of chili paste, 200 g of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 100 ml of water; mix well.
- Add the crab pieces to the wok, then cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the crab is cooked through and coated in sauce.
- Prepare for serving: while the crab cooks, chop spring onions for garnish and wash fresh coriander leaves.
- Once cooked, remove the lid and gently stir the crab to coat it in sauce before serving.
- Serve the chilli crab hot, garnished with chopped spring onions and coriander.
