Canjeero recipe

Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 600 ml water
- 7 g yeast
- 10 g sugar
- 5 g salt
- 30 ml oil
How to make Canjeero
- In a bowl, combine 2 teaspoons of yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 300 ml of warm water. Let it foam for 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix 500 g of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt together until well combined.
- Pour the yeast mixture and 2 tablespoons of oil into the flour. Mix until the batter is smooth for about 3-5 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes until it has doubled in size.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in a ladleful of batter and cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles start forming.
- When bubbles form on the surface, flip it and cook for another 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
