How to make Asida

  1. In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Gradually whisk in 250 g of wheat flour while stirring to prevent lumps forming.
  4. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes until it starts thickening.
  5. Lower the heat to low and continue stirring for about 10 minutes until it thickens significantly.
  6. Remove the pot from heat and let the asida cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the asida warm, drizzled with 50 g of melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar on top before serving.
