Qurutob recipe

Ingredients
- 200 g qurut (dried yogurt)
- 500 ml water
- 300 g flatbread
- 1 unit onion
- 2 unit tomato
- 50 ml vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 20 g cilantro
How to make Qurutob
- Soak 200 g of qurut in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable.
- Chop 1 onion and 2 tomatoes into small pieces, set aside for later use.
- In a skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion and tomatoes to the skillet, sautéing until golden for about 5 minutes.
- Add the soaked qurut to the mixture, stirring well to combine, then cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Tear 300 g of flatbread into small pieces and place them evenly in a serving dish.
- Pour the qurut mixture evenly over the pieces of flatbread, allowing them to soak.
- Garnish the dish with a handful of chopped cilantro for added flavor and color.
- Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes to meld the flavors before serving.
- Serve warm, allowing diners to enjoy the flavors as the bread soaks up the sauce.
