How to make Roti

  1. In a bowl, combine 250 g of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt evenly.
  2. Gradually add 150 ml of water to the flour mixture, mixing with your hands until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Once rested, divide the dough into 6 equal balls for shaping.
  5. Roll each ball into a flat circle about 15 cm in diameter, ensuring even thickness.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  7. Cook each roti for 1-2 minutes on each side until brown spots appear and the surface is cooked.
  8. Brush each cooked roti with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil while they are warm before serving.
