Fa'alifu fa'i recipe

Ingredients
- 4 unit ripe bananas
- 400 ml coconut cream
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 200 ml water
- 1 pinch salt
How to make Fa'alifu fa'i
- Peel 4 ripe bananas and slice them into 1 cm thick pieces, placing them in a bowl.
- In a saucepan, combine 400 ml of coconut cream, 100 g of sugar, and 200 ml of water.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely, about 5 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to the saucepan, mixing well to combine.
- Pour the warm coconut mixture over the sliced bananas in the bowl, ensuring they are all covered.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
- Serve the chilled Fa'alifu fa'i in bowls, ensuring a bit of coconut sauce over the bananas.
