How to make Tartiflette

  1. Boil the potatoes whole until just done, then peel and slice them thick.
  2. Fry the lardons, add the onion and soften, then deglaze with the white wine.
  3. Layer potatoes, onion and lardons in a dish rubbed with garlic, with crème fraîche between the layers.
  4. Split the reblochon through the middle and lay it rind-up on top. Bake at 200°C until brown and bubbling.
