How to make Chapli kebab

  1. Finely chop 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green chili, and a handful of fresh coriander and set aside for mixing.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 500 g ground beef, chopped onion, tomato, chili, 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Add 1 beaten egg and 2 tablespoons of flour to the beef mixture, then mix thoroughly to form a uniform mixture.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal parts and shape each into a patty about 1.5 cm thick.
  5. In a pan, heat ½ cup of oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  6. Carefully add the patties to the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  7. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove the patties from the pan and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  9. Serve the kebabs hot with naan or rice, along with your choice of chutney.
