- 1 unit onion
- 4 unit garlic
- 2 unit bay leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt

- 1000 ml water
How to make Feijoada
- Soak 500 g of black beans in water overnight. After soaking, drain the beans and set aside for use.

- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until it becomes aromatic.
- Add the diced pork shoulder and chorizo. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Stir in the drained black beans, 1 liter of water, 2 bay leaves, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2 to 3 hours until the beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
