Fufu recipe

Ingredients
- 500 g cassava
- 300 g plantains
- 1000 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
How to make Fufu
- Peel 1 cassava and 2 plantains, then chop them into 2-inch chunks.
- In a large pot, bring 4 cups of salted water to a boil.
- Add the chopped cassava and plantains to the boiling water; cook for 25-30 minutes until tender.
- Drain the water from the pot once cooked, then mash the cassava and plantains together until smooth and stretchy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Shape the mashed mixture into palm-sized balls and serve immediately while warm.
- Fufu pairs wonderfully with your choice of soups or stews.
