How to make Varenyky

  1. Tenderize 4 beef cutlets evenly using a meat mallet or rolling pin, and season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Coat each cutlet in 100 g of flour, ensuring it's covered well on both sides for a good crust.
  3. Dip each floured cutlet into 2 beaten eggs, making sure it’s fully coated in egg.
  4. Cover each egg-coated cutlet with 200 g of breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to ensure it sticks well.
  5. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of oil over medium heat until hot. Fry the cutlets for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. While the cutlets are frying, slice 2 tomatoes into thin pieces and keep them nearby for serving.
  7. Prepare the fried eggs separately and keep warm until ready to serve.
  8. After frying, remove the cutlets from the pan and let them drain on paper towels briefly.
  9. Serve each cutlet topped with a fried egg and accompanied by slices of tomato on the side.
  10. Enjoy the dish while it's hot for the best flavor.
