Sambaza recipe

Ingredients
- 800 g sambaza fish
- 1 tsp salt
- 200 ml vegetable oil
- 1 lemon
- 2 garlic
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make Sambaza
- Clean and gut 800 g of sambaza fish thoroughly under cold running water until it looks fresh.
- In a bowl, marinate the cleaned fish with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 3 minced garlic cloves.
- Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon over the fish and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a large frying pan, heat 1/2 cup of vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering, about 5 minutes.
- Carefully place the marinated fish in the pan and fry for 5-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the fish and fry for another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Once cooked, transfer the fish to a plate and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
