Ingredients
- 600 g cooked rice
- 300 g chicken breast
- 100 g carrot
- 50 g green onion
- 60 ml soy sauce
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp oil
- 3 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make Nasi goreng
- Before cooking, chop 300 g of chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, 1 carrot into dice, and slice 2 green onions.
- In a large pan, heat 30 ml of oil over medium heat until it shimmers slightly, indicating readiness.
- Add 3 minced garlic cloves and the diced chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink.
- Stir in the diced carrot and sliced green onions. Sauté for another 3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add 600 g of cooked rice to the pan along with 60 ml of soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
- Mix everything thoroughly and continue cooking until the rice is heated through and well incorporated.
- Push the rice to one side of the pan, crack 2 eggs into the empty space, and scramble them until fully cooked.
- Mix the scrambled eggs into the rice, ensuring even distribution before serving hot and garnished with additional sliced green onions.
