How to make Adana kebab

  1. Finely chop 1 onion, and 2 cloves of garlic, and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Combine 800 g of ground lamb with the chopped onion and garlic in the mixing bowl.
  3. Add 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, 1 tsp of cumin, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/1 tsp of black pepper to the meat mixture.
  4. Thoroughly mix the spices into the meat, using your hands for even distribution.
  5. Form the meat mixture into elongated shapes on skewers, about 15 cm long.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium heat, ensuring it is hot before placing the kebabs.
  7. Grill the kebabs for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking and to achieve a charred exterior.
  8. Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the kebabs with warm flatbreads and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
